sinfull people have healthy babies

i always wonder why do sinfull people have healthy babies? and i just cant think of a reason. like foe example celebs they do drugs, drink, sleep with each other and still have healthy kids. while saves by Christ people have mentally retarted or other kind of illnesses kids? why is that? shouldnt God reward his people with healthy kids and punish sinfull parents?[/b]

Celebrities with autistic, down syndrome or otherwise sick children like to keep them out of the spotlight so there is very little media coverage about them and you would know nothing about it. They are still human and face the same odds of having a sick child. However, with their loose morals, they would have no problem aborting a baby that the doctor even hinted at having a deformity. That's just off the top of my head.

The other side of the coin is: what better place is there for a sick child to live in than a christian home? Where else will he get that level of kind and gentle attention and such a peaceful environment? Plus, because the parents are christian, (no it's not going to be easy) will have this understanding and will use this trial as something that will prepare increase their spiritual life. They are given an amazing opportunity to develop kindness and patience that would be above anything we've tried to establish in ourselves. Can it be a blessing in disguise? Idea

ok wat bout the celebs like britney spears or courtney cox or christina agulera or even nikole ritchie they all have healthy babies!? and the other thing is that if God is so loving why would he punish his children and send them unhealthy child or down the road give them a illness they cant get rid of? i mean shouldnt he bless them? ive also heard that parents say who have deformed or mentally sick kids that God has blessed them with their child and they wouldnt want a healthy child bc they got wat they wanted that that child that He gave them brought them closer together. how tcould that be? I agree. Wouldn't you rather have all the sick and needy children in this world in the right hands? In the hands of christian people in this world? If these children are a "curse" or punishment, then why do we bother going around on all the missionary trips in Russia, Belarus, etc... If they were sent down on this earth as a punishment, shouldn't we be trying to stay away from them, keep as far away as possible?

I personally know a few families that have needy or special children, and from what I can see, they have never been happier. Never have I seen couples, so close to God and to each other as they are in these types of families. These are the families that really know what it means to "take care of one another" and it doesn't just involve the parents, but the siblings to. They live for each other, not for themselves. They know that each one of their actions will affect others, and they think before they do things.

God said ( Matt. 11:28 ): "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. " We're supposed to welcome these children with open arms, and take them in as a blessing, not push them away and take them as a punishment.

Thats very true ive never thiught bout that that families that have problems or like you said special children are the best families bc they really do love each other. when avrything is going well i dont think ppl know wat love really is bc they never go through the hard times and dont appreciate each other. thanks alot for opening my eyes to that. kids with all kinds of problems are not a burden they area ablessing

matthew5:45"that you may be the children of your father which is in heaven,for he maketh the sun rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust." first off both christians and un beleivers have abnormal and normal children,BOTH have BOTH types of kids, secondly is it your place to question god, after all he knows what hes doing. you cant explain why god loved us so much do die for us, yet you accept that with great joy and looks at these children with disgust, what makes his deceision with his children different. i love him and all his ways, all things work together for good in his children(christians), thats doesnt mean all things work together for materialistic blessing, anything thats brings us closer to him whether it be temptation, famine, lose of loved ones and even abnormal children, if it brings us closer to the one who loves us more than we can comprehend so be it, nothing is worth the relationship we have with our redeemer
